Judith (Gilmour) Davis

Judith (Gilmour) Davis, 84, of the East Springfield Section of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born in Springfield on July 10, 1935, the daughter of the late Allen and Ruthena (Waldren) Gilmour. She was a graduate of the High School of Commerce. Judy enjoyed working in her yard and cheering for the Boston Red Sox.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William Davis and a stepson William Davis along with two brothers Harvey and Andrew Gilmour and a sister Elsie Molanari. Judy is survived by two children Walter Davis and his longtime partner Maria D’Angelantonio of Springfield, Joanne Davis of Springfield and cherished pets Randi and Piper.  In addition, she also leaves behind her stepdaughter Debra Myers and her husband Phil of Palmer.  Judy also leaves behind three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The Davis family would like to thank Diane Gauthier and Zulma Rivera from Baystate Hospice along with Nicole Orengo from Helping Hands for all their care and compassion provided to Judy and her family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy’s memory to Baystate Hospice, 30 Capital Drive, Suite A, West Springfield, MA, 01089. Family and friends will gather and remember Judith at 1p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 for a graveside Service at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield.
