Karen A. (Krokenberger) Taylor

Karen A. (Krokenberger) Taylor, of Chicopee, died early Tuesday evening, August 24, 2021 at Holyoke Hospital. She was born and educated in Springfield, a daughter of Marion C. (Whipple) Krokenberger of Springfield, and the late Karl Krokenberger and was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1994.  Karen continued her education receiving her Registered Nursing degree from STCC Class of 1996 and was employed a nurse with various nursing home in Massachusetts. She enjoyed all aspects of creating arts and craft projects and loved animals. Besides her mother, she leaves her husband, John J. LeMay of Chicopee; two sisters, Kimberly S. Jacques of Springfield along with her children, Samantha Enwright and William Jacques, and Kelly J. Cavallini and her husband Joseph of Springfield along with their children, Dominic Cavallini and Jessica Thornton. She also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Zoey LeMay in 2013. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 1-3 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, in Springfield. Burial will be private. Contributions in Karen's name may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project.
