Katherine H. (Booth) Blake, 65, a lifelong resident of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, October 26, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her side. She was born and educated in Springfield, a daughter of the late Robert R. and Helen E. (Gagnon) Booth and was a graduate of Commerce High School Class of 1975. Katherine retired after more than 25-years from the former Hallmark Card Company of Enfield. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family, providing unwavering love and support, to all that knew her and loved her. Some of her favorite pastimes included rides in the country with her husband Paul, summertime trips to Hampton Beach, and family gatherings on the weekend. Katherine is survived by her devoted husband and best friend of 44 years, Paul Blake and leaves two loving children, Candice Blake and Brian Blake and his wife Maura both of Springfield; five siblings, Mary and Anne Booth both of West Springfield; Bernard Booth of Springfield, Robert Booth, Jr. and his wife Jane of Hadley, and Joseph Booth and his wife Peishan of Japan; two grandsons, Kayshawn Jamison and Brody Blake; her cherished pets, Shadow the Boston Terrier, Sophia the German Shepherd, and Blackie her cat; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, William and Thomas Booth. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, October 31st from 12 noon - 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., in Springfield.
