Kendall D. Collins, 75, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Kendall was born to the late Francis and Christine (Kendall) Collins. He was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School. He owned and operated K.C. Enterprises in Springfield for many years. He also worked for Agway Heating and Oil for twenty years. Kendall was an avid Red Sox fan and he enjoyed playing basketball, but most of all he treasured time spent with his family. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by two brothers Calvin and Larry and a sister Geraldine. He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-three years, Carol (Sharon) Collins of Springfield, seven shared devoted children, daughters Lynn- Ann Parsons and her husband Michael of Hatfield, MA., Karen MacDonald and her husband James Gagnon of Manchester, N. H., Donna Whitbeck and her partner Dominick Perretta of Canastota, N. Y., and Donna Mann of Chicopee, Sharon Jones and her husband Scott of Springfield, Rick Beiser of Chicopee and David Beiser and his fiancé Katie of South Hadley, as well as sixteen cherished shared grandchildren and eleven shared great-grandchildren and he also leaves his adored bichon Bentley at home. Family and friends will gather and remember Kendall on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 9a.m – 11a.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118, Followed by a Life Celebration Service at 11a.m. Burial will conclude in Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield.
