Kenneth M. Gregory

Kenneth M. Gregory, 82, of Hampden and Yarmouth, MA., passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Wingate of Hampden surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was born in Springfield on March 3, 1936, the son of the late Alton and Alexandria ( Marceluk) Gregory. Ken graduated from Springfield Technical High School. He worked for the Teamsters Local 404 and retired after many years of service. Ken also was a volunteer Fireman at the Hampden Fire Department for many years. In addition to his parents Ken was also predeceased by a son Wayne M. Gregory in 2002, a brother Donald Gregory and a sister Marjorie Cash, and a granddaughter Aubrey Roberts. He is survived by his wife Joyce Gregory of South Yarmouth, MA., one son Kenneth M. Gregory, Jr., and his wife Kate of Maine, two daughters Tammie A. Gregory- Chaffee of Hampden and Carrie L. Gregory and Michael Esterline of Florida, two brothers Harold Gregory of Oklahoma, Charles Gregory and Caroline Douglas of North Carolina, and two sisters Lydia Lauck of Hampden and Debbie Kern and her husband Bill of Hampden, he also leaves six grandchildren Justin Chaffee and his wife Kristie, Zachary Gregory, Ashley Bissonnette and her husband Chris, Brandi Gregory, Elizabeth Gregory and Jacob Gregory and three great-grandchildren Ethan Chaffee, Charlie Bissonnette and Lily Cruz, and he leaves his former wife Beverly Allard of Bernardston, MA, and he leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will gather and remember Kenneth on Thursday, May, 24, 2018 from 12noon-1PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118, followed by a Life Celebration Service at 1PM. Burial will conclude in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Hampden.
