Kevin A. Mota, 37, of Hampden and formerly of Fall River, MA, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Kevin was born in Fall River, MA, on September 28, 1980, the son of Francisco and Maria (Aguiar) Mota. Kevin was educated in the Durfee High School in Fall River. Kevin was an amazing man with extreme devotion to his wife and his four children.  He loved watching his sons, Logan and Jordan play hockey.  He loved putting a smile on his daughter, Paitan’s face.  He adored his “mini-me”…his daughter, Ashlan.  Kevin worked very hard as a landscaper for Gleason and Johndrow Landscaping where he was respected by his fellow employees.  Kevin was admired by many friends and family for being a “loyal guy”.  Kevin was the strength for his wife and children and will forever be held close to them.  He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Kelly (Closser) Mota of Hampden, four adored children Logan Closser, Jordan Closser, Paitan Closser and Ashlan Closser, and a son Anthony Mota, his beloved parents Francisco and Maria (Aguiar) Mota of Fall River, MA., a brother Scotty Mota of Fall River, MA., his mother-in-law Patricia Donovan of East Longmeadow, his father-in-law Donald Donovan and his wife Pat of Springfield, his brother-in-law Brian Donovan and Kelly Kuhn and their daughter Kayleen of Springfield, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Family and friends will gather and remember Kevin on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 4p.m. -5:30 p.m. with a Life Celebration Service at 5:30 p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118.
