Leonard A. Hayes

Leonard A. Hayes, 71, of Springfield passed away on Thursday, April 05, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Weymouth, MA on September 26, 1946 to the late Donald R. and Edith (Austin) Hayes. Lenny served as corporal in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He worked in sales for BWP Distributors, Inc. for over 30 years. Lenny was an avid golfer. Along with his parents, Lenny was predeceased by his wife Karen L. (Johnson) in 2014; and his two brothers, Larry and Donny Hayes. He leaves his son, Brian Hayes of Springfield; and his daughter Kimberly Hayes and her wife Isabel Leon of Dorchester. Calling hours for Lenny will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 4:00pm - 5:45pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:45pm at Byron Keenan Funeral Home, 1858 Allen St, Springfield.
