Marilyn Canfield Daly

Marilyn Canfield Daly, 76, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Heritage Hall South in Agawam. Born and raised in Springfield, Marilyn was the beloved daughter of the late David and Hazel (Canfield) Daly. She is survived by her loving brother, John D. Daly and his wife Lenore of The Villages, FL; her niece, Sabrina Canfield Daly of Alexandria, VA and her husband, Richard Vogler; her nephew, Joshua D. Daly of Branchburg, NJ; and cousins, Frederick Daly of North Kingstown, RI, Patricia Brundrett of Madison, CT, and Brian Daly of Farmington, MI. Marilyn was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Springfield and Our Lady of the Elms College Class of 1965 in Chicopee. She taught for over 40 years in the Springfield Public Schools as a kindergarten and elementary school teacher. When not in the classroom, Marilyn was an avid traveler, cruise ship aficionado and caregiver to her cherished cats. She will be dearly missed. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 9 -10:15 AM Saturday morning, June 15, at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut St., with burial to conclude at St. Michael's Cemetery, 1601 State St., all in Springfield.
