Mary E. (Sierputowski) Kostorizos

Mary E. (Sierputowski) Kostorizos, 61 of Monson, formerly of East Longmeadow, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at her residence. She was born and educated in Springfield, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Joyce (Spagna) Sierputowski and was a graduate of Classical High School Class of 1979. Mary was employed as a successful Account Executive with Enesco Corporation for many years. She was a hardworking independent woman, who started her career as the Manager of the Steiger’s store in Longmeadow, and later moved on to becoming a buyer for the company at its Springfield location. She thoroughly enjoyed her job, and would go above and beyond for her clients over the many years. Mary enjoyed working around her yard planting and cultivating the numerous flowerbeds, which became her hidden sanctuary. If she were not maintaining her meticulous yard, Mary might be found in the back yard lounging by the pool. She was no stranger to the hummingbirds and the butterflies that came daily. They loved her kindness and her daily visits. Mary lit up the room wherever she went, if there was music you could often find her on the dance floor. The life of the party, Mary always would brighten someone’s day by her infectious smile or her positive advice for someone in need. Her daughter, Stephany called her mother her best friend, she will treasure the many memories they shared together. Mary absolutely adored her three cherished grandchildren, as they were a big part of her life. She was the best Nana ever. Mary, will be greatly missed and always remembered. She leaves her loving daughter, Stephany A. Reilly and her husband Kyle and their children, Scarlett, Tyler and Emma Reilly all of Monson; her sister, Jean Beaudoin of Ludlow; her brother, Jay Sierputowski of Orlando, FL; and her two nieces, Jennifer and Jessica Beaudoin. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, February 26th from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a funeral home service beginning at 2:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, in Springfield. Burial will be private.
