Mary (Hanley) Middleton Tedeschi, 75, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Providence, RI on April 1, 1943 she was a daughter of the late Edward and Catharine (Hedenberg) Hanley. Mary worked in the Springfield Public School System as a Teacher’s Aide for many years. She loved flowers and enjoyed dancing, shopping, going to tag sales, and out to eat. Above anything else she loved spending time with her family. Mary leaves her loving husband of 34 years, John (Pasquale) Tedeschi; her children, Maryann Middleton Calabrese and her husband Luigi of Westfield and Kenneth E. Middleton and his wife Nancy of Enfield, CT; her daughter-in-law, Laurie Middleton; her step-children, Pasquale Tedeschi, Jr. of West Springfield, Maryann Gregory of Springfield, and Susan Tedeschi of Easthampton; her grandchildren, Italia, Alessio, and Mary Catharine Calabrese, Kylie and Sarah Middleton, and Michael Middleton; and her siblings, Catharine Castonguay and her husband Robert of Old Lyme, CT, Edward Hanley of Providence, RI, Janet Schnuth and her husband Calvin “Butch” of Bethel Park, PA, and Joanne Vogel and her husband Michael of Glenmoore, PA. Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by her son, John K. Middleton and her step-son, Joseph Tedeschi. Funeral services for Mary will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 starting at 9am at Byron Keenan Funeral Home, 1858 Allen St, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church. Rites of Committal will conclude in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, all in Springfield. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 5-8pm.
