Michael A. Raschilla, Jr., 72, of Wilbraham, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018. He was born in Springfield on October 26, 1945 to the late Michael A. Raschilla, Sr. and Angela (Brzostecki) Raschilla. Michael proudly served as specialist in the United States Army during the Korean and Vitenam Wars. He was a member of the VFW Post 9397 of Hampden, Local 596 Laborers of Holyoke, and American Legion 277 of Indian Orchard. Michael retired from Fontaine Brothers after 30 years and enjoyed helping take care of the horses and working on the family farm, Meadow Mist Farm. Above anything else, he loved his family. Along with his parents, Michael was predeceased by the love of his life, Shelly (Clark) Raschilla on August 22, 2007. He leaves daughters, Lisa Harris and her husband Robert of Wilbraham, and Heather Raschilla of Lynn, MA; his brother James Raschilla and his wife Barbara of Chicopee; five grandchildren, Robert, Kylie, Jonathan, Victoria, and Elianna; his nephew Anthony Raschilla; and his niece Lesley Raschilla. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 1pm at Byron Keenan Funeral Home, 1858 Allen St Springfield, followed by burial with military honors in Adams Cemetery, Wilbraham.
