Natalie Eileen (Crossman) Daley, 92, passed away on February 26, 2023 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was born the second of Henry B. and Hazel M. Crossman’s four children, on July 14, 1930 in Bellows Falls, Vermont. Natalie grew up in the greater Springfield area and attended Commerce High School. She married her best friend’s brother, Alan Daley, and had three children, Darlene, Mark and Brian.
Natalie and Alan lived in Springfield and Longmeadow. Alan was an owner of T.A. Daley and Sons Building Contractors. They were members of the Springfield Country Club and Natalie served at various times as the SCC women’s golf association president, president of the Balliet School PTA and as a scout den mother.
Natalie loved to shop and was a lifelong collector of everything from antiques and lamps to Annalee dolls. She lived and worked in Florida for many years after Alan died then moved to Attleboro in 2021 to be near her family.
Natalie is survived by her daughter, Darlene A. Korenberg and her husband David of Westchester, PA; her son, Brian J. Daley and his wife Virginia of Norton, MA; and her daughter-in-law, Erlinda Daley of Smithfield, RI. She was known as Lola to her grandsons, Alan Daley and his wife Lyn, Matt Korenberg and his wife Cindy, Marc Korenberg and his wife Myrvete, Patrick Daley and his wife Victoria, and Sean Daley. She also leaves 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, her sister, Sharon Cardaropoli, and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Ziemba, Carol Crossman and Maria Daley. Natalie was predeceased by her husband Alan Daley; her son, Mark Daley; her parents, Henry and Hazel Crossman; her brother, Bruce Crossman; her sister, Nadine Viel; and her second husband, Edgar Howe.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 with a calling hour from 10:00 -11:00 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, in Springfield. A Funeral Home service will follow beginning at 11:00 AM and committal services will conclude at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, in Springfield.
