Norman D. Herrick

Norman D. Herrick, 67, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday morning September 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Norman was born on November 20, 1955, the son of the late Roderick and Mavis (Welch) Herrick. Norman proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War Era. Norman graduated from Putnam Vocational in Springfield, Ma. He worked at Pratt and Whitney, Colt Manf. and Ebtec which he retired from. Hobbies included Nascar, Motorcycling, Hunting and most recently RC car racing at RC Madness. Norman also enjoyed listening to 80’s music and his beloved 1970 Camaro. (Which was his pride and joy). In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a sister Dale Monette. Norman is survived by his beloved wife Ann (Shearer) Herrick of Springfield, two devoted children Kristine Herrick of West Springfield and David Herrick and his wife Nichele (Connors) Herrick of Springfield. Family and friends will gather and remember Norman on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 9a.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA, 01101.
