Olga (Rivera) Luciano

Olga Iris (Rivera) Luciano, 75, of Springfield, devoted mother and proud foster parent for over thirty years, passed away on June 27, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Olga was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on February 23, 1947, the daughter of the late Severiano Rivera and Gloria Hernandez. She was educated in Puerto Rico and moved to the Springfield area in 1960. Olga enjoyed crocheting, collecting porcelain dolls and thrift shopping. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by a grandson David Hernandez, Jr.,  She is survived by her three devoted children Nydia Burgos of Springfield, David Burgos of Miami and , Raul Luciano of Miami her adored grandchildren Nydia Hernandez, David Burgos Jr, Daniel Hernandez, Alex Luciano, Kayla Luciano, Keanna Luciano and her great-grandchildren David Burgos III, Davien Burgos, Davniel Burgos ,Saviah Burgos, Alexander Luciano, Norah Lopez, Olivia Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez Jr., and she also leaves two brothers, Jose and Julio Rivera. Family and friends will gather and remember Olga on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 4-6p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 10a.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bay Street in Springfield.
