Patricia E. Allen

Patricia Elizabeth Allen, 92, of West Springfield, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her residence. Patricia was born in Springfield on February 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Anna J. (Laurin) Allen. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, Class of 1947. Patricia worked for the Springfield Armory and retired from the corps engineers after many years of service. She enjoyed swimming, golfing and loved her cats and her special dog named Charlie. In recent years Patricia showed great courage dealing with her health challenges. In addition to her mother she was also predeceased by her brother William Allen and a dear friend Roland Nadeau. She is survived by her best friend Edward J. Catellier of West Springfield. Family and friends will gather and remember Patricia on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 10-11a.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, Followed by a Funeral Home Service at 11a.m. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, West Springfield.
