Peter Edward Anderson

Peter Edward Anderson, 64, a lifelong resident of Springfield, died Monday morning, October 1, 2018 in the comfort of his home. He was born and educated in Springfield, a son of the late Edward G. and Pauline (Swanson) Anderson. Peter was an accomplished carpenter who owned his own business, working predominantly in the Greater Springfield area for most of his life. He was a member of the Springfield Italian American Club and the Springfield Lodge of Elks. Some of his favorite pastimes included auto racing of all types especially NASCAR, & Formula One, and following the New England Patriots. Peter is survived by his brother, Jeffrey C. Anderson and his wife Jennifer of Stafford, CT; his former wife, Paige Roby of New Jersey; several cousins and many friends. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, October 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, in Springfield. A funeral home service will begin Saturday evening at 8:00 PM. Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Italian American Club, 123 Colton Street, in Springfield.
