Philip A. Lamoureux, 77, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Philip was born in Newport, VT on September 3, 1944, the son of the late Ephrem and Gisele (Veilleux) Lamoureux. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School. With his expertise in HVAC, he spent the majority of his decades long career working at Hammill McCormick, Holyoke Hospital, and BG Mechanical. He was a man of endless talents and knowledge, always on call for his family and friends. Over the years, he had many, MANY hobbies, including paintball, along with fixing, building and collecting cars. He is survived by his wife Joan A. (Brunette) Lamoureux of Springfield; three devoted children Lori Nicaretta and husband Michael of Longmeadow, Michael Lamoureux of Springfield, Bob Lamoureux and wife Tara of Springfield; his loving siblings Jane Hansher of Johnstown, CO, Andre (Pete) Lamoureux and wife Bobbye of Wilbraham, Denise Wood of Hampden, Cecile Richard of Springfield, Annamarie Mason-LeClerc of Agawam, James Lamoureux, Sr. and wife Judith of Springfield, Marc Lamoureux and wife Kimberly of Agawam; four adored grandchildren Natalie, Cameron, Paxton and Phoenix; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will gather and remember Phil on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 2-4pm at Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10am, meeting directly at Sacred Heart Church 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
