Phyllis N. (Nooney) Grimaldi

Phyllis (Nooney) Grimaldi, 99, of Springfield, formerly of East Longmeadow, died late Thursday evening, April 23, 2020 in Wilbraham. She was born and educated in Springfield, a daughter of the late Howard and Beatrice (Rising) Nooney. Phyllis was employed for many years as a secretary in the insurance industry. She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Louis N. Grimaldi and leaves two loving children, Richard Grimaldi and his wife Margaret and Debra Garvin both of East Longmeadow; three cherished grandchildren, John Garvin and his wife Melissa of Southington, CT, Michael Grimaldi and his wife Maria of Monson, and Carolyn Kapernakis and her husband Taso and their son George of Tolland, CT. Besides her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by her siblings, Richard Nooney and Dorothy Ferris. All services are private and a Memorial Service will be held at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center at a date and time to be announced.
