Richard E. “Doco” Crowley, 82, of Longmeadow, passed away on Tuesday evening, April 26, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Springfield on April 2, 1940, the son of the late Cornelius and Mary (Skehan) Crowley. Doco was educated in Sacred Heart School and a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1957. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Doco was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Springfield. He worked for Arco Electric in Springfield for forty years. Then worked for Rexel Electrical Supply in West Springfield and retired after nineteen years of service. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Cornelius “Neil” Crowley. He is survived by his beloved wife Anne Crowley of Longmeadow, and her four daughters Suzanne Keenan of Longmeadow, Lorraine Rousou and her husband Anthony of Longmeadow, Donna Wood and her husband Stephen of Croton-on-Hudson, NY., Andrea O’ Sullivan of Newport Beach, CA., and the late Amanda O’ Sullivan, and his four adored grandchildren, Joseph Keenan, Loulla, John and Alexie Rousou, and he leaves his devoted sister Judy DiLullo of Agawam, two nieces Donna DiLullo and Kelly Crowley and three nephews Michael DiLullo and his wife Maria, Richard Dilullo and his wife Phet and Neil Crowley and his wife Pam, as well as a large extended family. Doco’s family would like to thank all the staff at the Jewish Nursing Home and Hospice for their compassion, empathy and outstanding care throughout his stay with them. Doco’s funeral will be held on Monday, May, 2, 2022 at 930 a.m. from the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield. Followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield. Burial will follow in Longmeadow Cemetery.
