Robert Arthur House

Robert Arthur Gregg House, 90, of East Longmeadow, MA, passed away on November 17, 2023 in the comfort of his home. Robert was born in Springfield, MA, on July 25, 1933, the son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Gregg) House. Robert graduated from Springfield Technical High School. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force as a flight instructor and held the rank of Staff Sergeant. He co-founded Alconn Plastics with his father in Enfield, CT, sold wire rope for American Chain & Cable (ACCO), created a home and commercial remodeling & design business, Heritage Designs; owned and ran an Irish pub, the Erie Club, worked at Plastic Packaging, Inc., and he also worked as an electronics tech for Continental Baking.  He was member of the Elks Lodge #61 and a member of the Strokers Hot Rod Club since 1952.  In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Joyce (Dwight) House, in 2019; his sister, Carol Lincoln & his brother, Lynn House.  Robert is survived by his five devoted children; Brett House, his wife, Rebecca & their son, August; Garrett House; Melissa House, her daughter Allyson Goodrich and her husband Nathan & their two children; Forrest & Wyatt; Morgan House, his wife Jessica & their two children; John & Sabrina and Jennifer (House) Grimley, her husband, Michael & son, Gavin; All services and burial will be held at a later date.
