Robert S. “Bob” Jackson, 62, a lifelong resident of East Longmeadow, died in the comfort of his home, on April 27, 2020 in Springfield. He leaves his three loving children, Emilee, Benjamin, and Jeffrey; his brother, Bruce and his sister, Susan; and three beloved granddaughters, Aaliyah, Sophia and Callie. Bob loved the outdoors, he was an accomplished Eagle Scout, exploring the world around him, from camping to hiking and endless nights by the fire. As a young adult he found joy in skiing the blackest of diamond slopes, and a fascination with cars which lasted throughout his life, the faster and louder the better. When faced with a permanent disabling back injury, he fought through the pain to become a lawn care master and the handiest-of-men. A collector of the world, he loved his stories. A distant second to the love for his family and friends. He was forever willing to help out anyone, at any time, always with the perfect tools for the job. Bob will be laid to rest with his father William, mother Carolyn, and a joyous reunion with his twin brother, Don, with whom he's missed for far too long. All services are private and his burial will be held at Hillcrest Park Cemetery. The Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center is handling his arrangements. Contributions in his name may be directed to the Cory J. Garwacki Foundation, PO Box 484, East Longmeadow, MA 01028. http://www.byronkeenan.com
