Robert Lee Jones, Sr.

Robert Lee Jones, Sr. of East Longmeadow, died on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Rodney of CA and Robert II of Springfield, his sisters, Lottie Clark and Vivian Jones of E. Longmeadow, Sadie Johnson of Spfld., and Rita Jones of NY; his brother, Benjamin & Cheryl Jones all of E. Longmeadow; grandchildren, Shaunia Flowers & Rodney Jr of Springfield; his special friend, Mellody Hatten of Chicopee; his former wife Patricia Reynolds of Springfield; & generations of cousins nieces nephews and extended family. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Booker T & Sadie B (Rainey) Jones, and his brothers, Booker & Nathaniel, and ex-spouse, Lucy Jones. His funeral will be held on Friday, June 10th at 11 AM at the Macedonia Church of God Christ, 215 Tinkham Road, Springfield with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, both in Springfield. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 9th from 5-7 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield.
