Tribute

Bob Wynn was loved by all ages of friends and family for his warmth, kindness, and willingness to listen. First to arrive and last to leave, there wasn’t a wedding or party that Bob did not enjoy.Born on January 18, 1945, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Robert was a son of the late Joseph Francis and Isabella (Mackechnie) Wynn. A 1962 graduate of Cathedral High School, he attended Holyoke Community College, and later joined the Army National Guard. On June 28, 1969, he married Rosann Piemonte at St. Paul’s Church in Springfield, Massachusetts. They have made their home in East Longmeadow since 1974. Robert retired from the Republican Company as Circulation Systems Manager after 45 years of service. Bob loved to get together with his siblings and extended family to celebrate his Irish/Scottish heritage. His story telling would often include stories of the old days growing up around Springfield, family parties, etc. Bob was devoted to his family, especially his wife, whom he met at Cathedral High. Bob and Rosann adored their grandchildren, and were always present on the sidelines of soccer, lacrosse, and football games no matter the distance. They enjoyed their travels with friends and family to Wyoming, California, Cape Cod, Europe, and beyond. They could be found every Sunday at the 8 a.m. Mass at Saint Michael’s Church. They enjoyed breakfast and coffee with their friends after Mass. Bob died Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at the age of 75. The family is grateful for the long term cardiology care provided by Dr. Joan Lisak. In addition to his wife of 51 years, Rosann, he leaves their children and their spouses, Traci and Michael Hickey of Sutton, Massachusetts, Kimberly and Patrick McFarlin of Jackson, Wyoming, and Jennifer Wynn of San Francisco, California; his grandchildren, Conor and Graham Hickey; his siblings, Mary and John Harney of Medfield, Christine Maloney of Wilbraham, in-laws Sandra and Jeff Robb of Agawam; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
