Ronald Mills Van Wart

Ronald Mills Van Wart, aka “Happy Camper” 78, of Chicopee, passed away on August 13, 2019 where he resided with his daughter in Chicopee, MA. Born in Milford, Connecticut, November 25, 1940 he was the son of the late Harry Mills Van Wart, Jr. and Mildred E. (Delaney) Van Wart. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Ann (Ryan) Van Wart and leaves four children, Harry Mills Van Wart III of FL, Melissa Faye Van Wart and her fiancé Robert of West Springfield, Jeffrey Mills Van Wart of Springfield, and Stacy A. Miller of Chicopee; four sisters, Cheryl Rimar and her husband Michael, Sandy Valentine and her husband Thomas, Deborah Reed and her husband Scott, and Shelly Cantley; ten grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son, Ronald Mills Van Wart. Some of his favorite sayings which will be greatly missed by his family and friends include; I can chew nails, spit tacks and bark at the moon; Looking good; and lastly, Wild and Crazy Guy. All services were private and the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center was honored to handle his arrangements.
