Ross William Fournier

November 10, 1975 ~ January 12, 2023 (age 47) 47 Years Old

Ross William Fournier, 47, passed away far too soon, at home in Hampden, MA on January 12. The son of Jacqueline A. (Paradis) Fournier of Hampden and the late William P. Fournier, Ross was born on November 10, 1975 and raised in Springfield, MA. He was a commercial truck driver, with a Class A commercial driver’s license, most recently working as an independent contractor for the US Postal Service.  Ross took tremendous pride in his work, caring for all drivers on the road and the tractor trailers he drove. In his spare time, Ross was an avid woodworker, spending hours on end in his family wood shop with his stepfather and buddy, Leon King.  He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed him.  Ross loved a hot cup on coffee and a cigarette while watching the deer graze on the lawn from the back porch of his home in Hampden.  Ross was an incredible help to his mother & stepfather, helping care from them and their home & property during their golden years. Ross leaves behind the great love of his life and very best friend, his daughter Addison Ann Fournier.  Ross and Addison were two peas in a pod, always working on some project or craft together.  He was such a proud father, in constant awe of Addison, all her accomplishments and of the incredible young woman she is.   Your Dad loved you very much Addison, forever and always. Along with Addison, Jacqueline & Leon, Ross is survived his sister Carla (Fournier) French and her children Daniel, Michael and Amelia of Longmeadow & his brother Nicholas Fournier, his wife Jennifer and their children Ryanne, Marleigh and Violette, also of Longmeadow.  Ross was also pre-deceased by his grandparents, Alfred and Jane Paradis whom he cared for very much. Ross will be dearly missed by all those who loved and cared for him. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening, January 19th from 4-7 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street in Springfield.
