Russell N. Artioli

Russell N. Artioli, 84, a lifelong resident of Springfield, died on Saturday, July 17, 2021 in the comfort of his home. Born and educated in Springfield, he was the son of the late Quirino and Ethel (Edgett) Artioli. Russ was employed for most of his life as a meat cutter with the former Falls Provision Market in Chicopee and more recently with Stop & Shop of East Longmeadow. Some of his favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and cooking. He was an active member of the Springfield Sportsman Club of Monson for over 65-years. He leaves two nieces, Joanne Markham of East Longmeadow, and Gloria Artioli of West Springfield; two nephews, Marty Artioli and his partner Joyce Dugre of Hampden, and Kenneth Artioli of SC; two grandnieces, Taryn Siciliano and her husband Peter of Wilbraham, and Carly Markham of Springfield; and one grandnephew, Jeremy Markham and his wife Beth of Wilbraham; along with three great grandnephews and one great grandniece. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, August 1st from 2-4 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street in Springfield. Burial will be private.
