Ruth P. (Hasenjager) White

Ruth P. (Hasenjager) White, 80, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away on September 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her two sons.  Ruth was educated in the Springfield School System, as a homemaker she would occasionally care for children in her home; she was very creative and loved crocheting. Ruth was a long time member of Bethany Assembly of God, and then later Evangel Assembly. Ruth will be remembered for her immense faith, being a committed Christian and her dedication as a prayer warrior.  In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband, James M. White, Sr., a sister, Judith Arnold. Ruth is survived by her two devoted sons, Fred White and James White, Jr., both of Springfield; a brother, Edmund Hasenjager and his wife Judy of Springfield; a granddaughter, Kyleigh White of Chicopee; as well as a large extended family. Family and friends will gather and remember Ruth for a Graveside Service on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 11a.m. in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield.
