Shirley Joyce (Guindon) Talbot

Shirley J. (Guindon) Talbot, 92 of East Longmeadow, died late Sunday morning, August 22, 2021 at Baystate Wing Hospital. She was born and educated in Springfield a daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Fowler) Guindon. Shirley retired in 1980 after 22 years as the school lunch manager for the East Longmeadow School system. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert G. Baker, and Frederick Talbot. Shirley leaves two daughters, Gail Miller and her husband Robert and Nancy Deraleau and her husband Lawrence all of East Longmeadow; three step-sons, John Talbot and his wife Gail, Gregory Talbot and his wife Carole, and Michael Talbot and his wife Marie; two stepdaughters, Catherine Talbot and her husband David, and Elizabeth Morley and her husband Robert; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Vivian Cassidy, Arthur, James, Leroy and Earl Guindon. Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 27th at 12 noon at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., with burial to follow at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker St., both in Springfield. An hour of visitation will precede her funeral on Friday from 11:00 AM – 12 noon.
