Steven Rockwell

Steven G. Rockwell, 31, of East Longmeadow, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. Steven was born in Springfield on January 17, 1990, the son of Donna M. Rockwell and the late Steven H. Sopollec. Steven proudly served our country in the United States Marines from 2011-2019. He was a graduate of East Longmeadow High School, Class of 2008. He recently worked for Northern Pipe Line in Springfield. Steven loved fishing, bike racing and he was a foodie at heart and loved a hot spicy challenge. He is survived by his devoted maternal grandmother Betty-Lou Rockwell of East Longmeadow, his loving paternal grandmother Patricia Perella and her husband John of Monson, MA. his sister Amy Medina and her husband Tony of Springfield, his uncle Jeffrey Rockwell of Chicopee and he also leaves a large extended family. Family and friends will gather and remember Steven on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 2p.m -4p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 9a.m. in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 421 Tinkham Road, Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Foundation for Life, P.O.
