Teresa J. (Bailey) Bailey

Teresa J. Bailey, 92, of Hampden, passed away on February 15th, 2018, at home. Terry was born in Springfield on February 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Irving and Mary (Podgorska) Bailey. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design and received her Masters from Springfield College. Terry worked in the Springfield School system as a teacher and head of the Art Department. Terry was an avid skier and golfer. She was an award-winning artist who participated in many shows and organizations. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband, Alfred Nazareth, Jr., and her sister, Louise Mawhiney. She is survived by her nephew Allan Mawhiney, his wife Jeanne and their children. Terry’s Memorial Service will be held graveside on Saturday, May 5th at Hillcrest Park Cemetery at 2:00 PM and all are welcome. (Burial will be at Hillcrest Park Cemetery on 5/2/18 at 1:00).
