Theresa (Chamberland) Levesque, 92, passed away on July 26, 2019 after a long illness. Originally from the small town of St. Bruno, Kamouraska Canada, a province of Quebec, Theresa began her career as a young schoolteacher in a one-room schoolhouse. She moved to Nashua, NH with her late husband, Armand Levesque, in 1947 where they began to learn English, and to raise a family of 4 children.
After her husband’s passing in 1970, Theresa went on to raise their children while working full time. After more than 40 years at Beebe Rubber in Nashua, NH she retired from the company in 1993, when she able to hone her interests in reading, word search puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Theresa is survived by her youngest son, Steve Levesque of East Longmeadow (formerly of Nashua, NH) and his wife, Shannon (Martin) Levesque; her daughter-in-law Colette (Barton) Levesque of Nashua, NH and by her brother Gilbert Chamberland of Longeuil, Canada. Theresa is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Amy (Levesque) Duprey and Daniel Levesque of Nashua, NH; Cory Levesque of Los Angles, CA and Julia and Erica Levesque of East Longmeadow, MA. She is also survived by her 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armand Levesque, and children Jacqueline (Levesque) Kantargis, Normand Levesque, and Marc Levesque.
