Truman Raymond Easton

Truman Raymond Easton, 83 of Chicopee, passed away on March 20, 2023 at Holyoke Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Truman was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 19, 1940, the son of the late Charles Easton and Dorothy Rockwal. Truman graduated from Westfield High School in 1959.  He was a bus driver for 40 years with the PVTA. He won numerous bus rodeo’s, was the State champ and was even 4th in the Nation. Truman proudly served his Country in the Coast Guard. He had a passion for traveling. His family and friends couldn’t wait to hear about his next cruise. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his former wife Jane (Malone) Easton. Truman is survived by his beloved wife Marilynn (Jurkowski) Easton of Chicopee, four devoted children Tammie Easton of West Springfield, Timothy Easton and his wife Jennifer of West Springfield, Jennie Tremblay and her husband Michael of East Longmeadow and Jennifer Volin and her husband Michael of Cherry Hill, N.J. He leaves a dear sister Patricia Clarke and her husband Bruce of Plymouth, MA. He leaves his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren whom he always had a dollar to give them. He also leaves three nephews. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Family and friends will gather and remember Truman at a Graveside Service on Friday, April 7, 2023  at 11:00AM in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield.
