William “Bill” Barcomb, Jr., 46, of Hampden, formerly of Easthampton, died peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family at his side, early Friday afternoon, January 17, 2020 in Hampden. He was born and educated in Northampton, a son of Darlene (Terrell) and the late William B. Barcomb, Sr. Bill truly loved the outdoors, he enjoyed the quiet tranquility of spending any day fishing, going on a hike, or spending an afternoon working in the backyard repairing a car, motorcycle or anything else that required mechanical repair. His favorite pastime in life, was the time he spent with his loving family as they were always his greatest possession. Bill leaves his loving wife and best friend of nine years, Brandi C. (Budynkiewicz) Barcomb and daughter, Samantha M. Budynkiewicz of Hampden; his mother, Darlene Guilmain and her husband Raymond of Springfield; his sister, Tara Calef and her husband Albert of Easthampton; his parents-in-law, Jane and Michael Budynkiewicz of Hampden; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. He also leaves his favorite four-legged companion and min pin, Sally. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday evening, January 23rd from 4-7 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., in Springfield. A funeral home service will be held on Friday morning, January 24th at 11:00 AM and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill’s name may be directed to the Girls Scouts of Central Western Mass, 301 Kelly Way, Holyoke, MA 01040.
