William E. Clinton

William E. Clinton (known to most as Will or Billy) was called safely home on March 26, 2023 surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family.  He was born on December 7, 1980 to William E. Clinton and Ada E. (Candelario) Torres both of Springfield.

William was educated in the Springfield public schools and graduated with high honors from Central High School Class of 1998.  Will was extremely gifted in math, and excelled as a student all of his life. He never missed one day of school during his entire twelve years of schooling. William was also gifted with working knowledge of technology and electronics. 

He was presently employed with JYL Transportation where he served as a dedicated employee. 

Will was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hockey, baseball, basketball and football.  He loved spending time in his sports cave watching several games at once, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, the Chicago White Sox, or the Boston Celtics depending on the season.  He also managed to entertain family members every Sunday (especially those on rival teams) with trash talk, love and humor through texts and phone calls.

He will be greatly missed by his parents; his longtime partner, Maria Bolorin; his stepchildren, Amarilees and Brandon Bolorin; his grandson, Kayden; siblings, Elaine Torres of Springfield, Jeralyn Harris of Chicago, IL Marisha Clinton of Brooklyn, NY, Lisa Clinton of Springfield, Lyle Muhammad, of Miami, FL, and Stephen Grandison of Springfield; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his brother, Richard L. Torres; Aunt, Olga Candelario; and Grandmother, Alene Clinton.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, March 31st, from 2-3 PM followed by a funeral home service at 3:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
