Yvon G. Houle

Yvon G. Houle, 76, of Longmeadow, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Wingate nursing Home of East Longmeadow, comforted by his son at his side. He was born in Canada on September 18, 1942, the son of the late Romeo and Aliene (Galinas) Houle, and later moved with his parents settling in Chicopee. Yvon retired after many years with Digital Computers of Westfield. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors. Yvon is survived by his son, John Houle of Longmeadow; five sisters and two brothers. Family and friends will gather and remember Yvon on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 4-6p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118, Followed by a Life Celebration Service at 6p.m. Burial will be private.
