Zanika D. Matos

Zanika D. Matos, 24, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Zanika was born in Springfield on August, 22, 1993, the daughter of Smyleen Matos and Zinnia Perez of Springfield.  Zanika was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 2011.  Zanika loved the ocean, music and birthday parties. In addition to Zanika’s parents she is also survived by her devoted sister Zyana Matos of Springfield, and she leaves a large extended family. Family and friends will gather and remember Zanika on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 5p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118, Followed by a Life Celebration Service at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
