Margie and I were so sorry to hear about Jackie's passing away. It brought back a lot of memories. I shared with Margie the memory of Grandpa Joe bringing your mom and me into the kitchen to teach the two of us how to wash and dry dishes when we were living on Ashland Street in North Adams when we were kids. That was our job after dinner and we were to take turns washing and drying the dishes. To this day I cannot leave the dishes to drain in the sink, have to dry them and put them away as we were taught. Jackie and I were able to talk and share during those times after dinner. Good memories! Wonderful times playing softball with Frank, being part of your family and watching you kids grow up. Fun times and good memories at Grandma Tommie and Grandpa Joe's in Hancock. Be sure to have Joey share with the kids his adventure in getting his head caught in the chair on a visit to Hancock. So sad that Jackie is gone but so grateful to have these memories to hang on to. Margie and I will make a contribution to St. Jude's in Jackie's name. Uncle Dan and Auntie Margie
