Ann M. (Stanley) Donovan, 85, a resident of East Longmeadow and former longtime resident of Springfield, died early Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2017 at Blair Manor in Enfield, Connecticut. She was born and educated in Springfield, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (McCarthy) Stanley. Ann was a longtime communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Springfield, and was the devoted wife of the late Daniel D. Donovan who died in 2004. She leaves two loving children, Nora D. Kopec and her husband Matthew of Somers, CT, and John T. Donovan and his wife Louise of Cromwell, CT; as well as nine cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, February 25th from 9:15 – 10:15 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 1900 Allen Street, with Rites of Committal to conclude at St. Michael’s Cemetery, 1601 State Street, all in Springfield.
