Tricia and Steve,

While we did not have the privilege of knowing your father, it is clear from the posts and out pouring of love he was a truly special man. There are no words to comfort your pain, but please know we are among the many people praying for you to find both peace and strength during these most difficult times. Lean on each other, and lean on those who love you. Please count us among those you can depend on.

We love you, Gregg and Jaclyn

In 2006 I met Jack for the first time shortly after me and his wonderful daughter Tricia met and began dating. Being the kind and gracious man that he was, he welcomed me into his home with open arms. As the years went on he welcomed me into his family and his heart. I spent a lot of time with Jack over the last 12 years and quickly grew to love, and respect the man that he was. We would talk for hours on end about whatever came to mind...work, sports, life in general. He was never short of funny anecdotes, witty retorts or great stories to tell. Jack’s wit and mind were as sharp as a tack and he so dearly loved talking to and helping people. He was a truly great man that was loved by so many, including me. Words cannot even begin to express the sadness I feel for Jack’s passing, the world is a lesser place without him. I will miss my father in law, I will miss my second father, and most of all I will miss my good friend. I wish his/our family peace. With love and affection....Steve Haupt.

Condolences to Patty and family.
I am one of the honored ones to have know and worked with Jack for many years at Ham. Std.
Jack was a true family man, loved and talked always about Patty and the kids. He was an EXCELLENT guy to work with--always did more than his share.
Rest in peace Jack, you earned it. John Lynch

Dear Patty,
So sorry to learn of Jack's passing, I have missed hearing his stories and now will miss them even more.
He truly loved the time spent with you in your little space on the coast of Maine.
I will miss our phone calls, and when I would tease him about getting away from the winters up north.
My heart goes out to you and your family, and wonderful grand children at this time.
Jack was truly a wonderful person, and a friend to all that worked with him so many years, may this comfort you to know he was loved by many.
Rest well my friend Jack,, for you have earned it.

Dick Bragg
